Sorry for the delay! It's the HOLIDAYS ok. I've been lazy. Just worked an 8 hour graveyard shift folding 234234 t-shirts. But I have kept my word and here are the three pictures that I was able to take at LA Fashion Week back in October. The pictures are not MUCH but it was a view from my phone! Blackberry cameras are the best! =)
The Julia Clancey Show. One of my favorites! She is a London-based designer. Check out some more of her collection at WWW.JULIACLANCEY.COM
The Lauren Conrad show. I wasn't very impressed with the clothes but I just took a picture to show how crazy crowded that show was and all the media and papparazzi

Anways...
The weather has been quite cold and a bit gloomy which I looove! FINALLY get to bring out the coats and hats and scarves. This year the fall/winter wear trend is definitely the pea coats, trenches, and leather jackets for both men and women. I did not want to just focus on women's fashion so here are some clips of men's fashion show. They include designers like Salvator Ferragamo, Yves Saint Laurent, and Hermes. Guys, a pea coat or trench coat is definitely an investment so definitely go for the best! As you see the BLACK is still definitely in. Very sleek and chic!
And for the ladies, leather jackets and tailored 'tuxedo' jackets is IN. You can both dress them down with skinny jeans/black tights and pair of booties or gladiator. As for dressing them up a leather jacket would be very edgy, yet feminine with a ballerina type skirt. And the tailored jacket would look amazing with a pencil skirt. Rihanna definitely has the HELL'S ANGEL look down cooold. Heres also a pic of Blake Lively from Gossip Girl in a cute tailored jacket. BUT feel free to add a splash of color with accessories and a very bright pair of electric blue LOUBOUTINS =)
So I just watched the encore presentation of THE HILLS and it was the episode where WHITNEY gets an interview to work for DIANE von FURSTENBERG who as I mentioned is my all time favorite and you guys that know me know that as well. AND WHITNEY gets the chance to move to NEW YORK! [inserting the jealousy] but I like WHITNEY so kudos to her. I don't want to think about it too much while I am stuck studying for this darn economics final I have tomorrow and thinking I will get up there soon!!! But I just had to vent! Anyways here are some pictures of DVF's Resort Collection that are in stores NOW! Enjoy! Her Resort Collection Show was held in Florence, Italy at the exclusive Giardino Torrigiani. Celebrities included Eva Longoria who also attended an open-air dinner after the show to celebrate! Ahh "la dolce vita amidst!"
Hey guys! Chris finally convinced me to update this thing and so this is my first official post! I should of updated when I attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the Smashbox Studios like two months ago. I'm sorry I'm late but hey better than never right? It was an amazing experience. Met so many people and seen a lot of collections from up and coming designers. My favorite would definitely me KEVAN HALLS (my first runway show!!!) and JULIA CLANCEY. Julia Clancey is an designer from England. Her spring collection was beautiful. Lots of wearable dresses and shirts. Kevan Hall was my absolute favorite...He would be one of the most known out of all the designers from the week...he was featured in Kimora Lee's reality show LIFE IN THE FAB LANE. Unfortunately, I did not bring any sort of digital camera while I was there to take any pictures of both collections. It was my first time and I was on volunetter duty (HUGE SHOUT OUT TO IMG-Keri!!!) so I thought it was unprofessional?! I was not familiar with the rules of cameras, except for the professionals and the paparazzi. Sorry! Kevan's collections was mostly compiled of elegant gowns, flowy chiffon, and a touch of the old hollywood vintage theme in some of his looks. I stood near the end of the runway where all the paparazzi. At that point I literally did not move and my mind was scrambling. I really wanted to scream because I COULD NOT believe I am actually here! The event was from Sunday-Thursday. Missed only like one or two shows out of the 16? I dont want to overwhelm anyone with an OUTDATED event, so I'll stop here. But if you do want to hear me just hit me an email? LOL. I do have like 3 pictures from two of the shows and the lounge at SMASHBOX. I just fixed my laptop so I have to upload the pics so give me a day and check back!
